Multi-million pound acquisition lays the groundwork for media and employer branding agency to become major player worldwide

An innovative employer branding and marketing communications agency based in Gloucestershire, working with global clients including Sky, Barnardos and HSBC, has announced the buy-out of a multi-million pound media buying business ‘LogicMelon Media Ltd’ for an undisclosed sum, which will lead to further expansion and job creation locally.

WeLove9am had previously co-owned the ad-buying subsidiary with Logic Enterprises Ltd based in Cambridge. But with employees based for some time in Gloucestershire, and clients increasingly calling on media buying as part of their overall recruitment projects, it made perfect business sense for WeLove9am to integrate the Media company into its full-service agency operation.

“The LogicMelon Media team was built strategically alongside WeLove9am” says Mark Bevans, Founder & Managing Director. “And bringing their buying power fully into our operation means we can offer everything for our clients, at every stage of the talent acquisition process, from job adverts and social campaigns, to careers site, selection materials, and onboarding communications.”

As part of the expansion, a new director has been appointed from among the senior team. Digital & Social expert Dulcie Graves joins Mark to focus on future plans for the business. And with media buying expertise joining in-house digital designers, videographers, PR & copywriters and software developers. The company has launched technical innovations which include chatbot and bespoke programmatic ad buying software, supporting clients’ recruitment campaigns from end-to-end.

“Combining these two brands has created a unique proposition for our clients,” Mark continues, “one that will see us become a major player in the UK market."

“And with expansion plans already in place to open a New York based agency to help support already established US clients, we really are about to become a global operation.”
