The amazing children’s charity Barnardo's has an incredible story, giving young people hope for the future. Since 1867 they’ve been protecting and supporting the UK’s most vulnerable children, helping bring out the best in them – no matter who they are or what they have been through, believing no child should be turned away.
But in common with all charities, they needed to show they make every £1 work its hardest.

We knew we could step in and provide a cost-effective media buying service, one that gave Barnardo’s the confidence that they were delivering maximum value to their donors and supporters.
We boast a great working relationship with all the major boards, as well as many of the niche ones, so we set those wheels in motion without hesitation.
What we did
We began by analysing candidate data from today’s top paid and free job boards, combined with the vast resources available to us - our unique performance data of just over 2 million application CV’s every month.
Above all, we needed to be strategic with this - and deliver a real commercial saving.
Did it work?
Our performance data is always based on candidate success, not just application numbers. We then analysed employee tenure, to create the perfect formula.
Our buying secured the most advantageous rates on the boards (if you haven’t seen our team in hard-nosed negotiating action, you’re missing something a bit special) and passed on all that buying power to save the most spend we could.
